The story is simple enough. Gringo checks into low rent hotel in downtown San Jose, and then wanders over to the local bar to cruise for chicas and fun. Along comes two party “girls” and a good time is had by all drinking and playing at the bar.
Closing time rolls around, and of course the ladies are invited to continue the party back in the hotel room. Hookers and beer in a cheap motel room. Sounds like a blast, right?
Turns out one of these chicas is packing some extra equipment. One could assume that a guy could almost go along with it, after all one of them is cute enough and has a warm pussy.
The problem is why would a real female team up with a transvestite and work the street instead of the better bars in San Jose? None of the possible reasons are good, and in this case the motive was to seemingly rob the customers, as reported in the original post.
Next question is why would a transvestite and a hooker call the police on their cell phone after trying to rob a gringo?

This translates to, “There is a foreigner here who just pulled out a weapon, a knife”.
So, we can assume that perhaps these two larcenous “ladies of the night” were a little surprised that our gringo adventurer wasn’t about to take their shit, or at least he had a strong dislike for transvestite hookers.
It’s a good thing that the crisis management team at Hostel Marruecos were on the spot to defuse the situation.

We can speculate that the large number of cops that showed up were at least drawn in part by the report of the “arma”, or maybe it was just a quiet night. The police weren’t all the impressed to the validity of the claims made on the part of these chicas.
No arrests was made and the chicas were sent on their way.
