I just couldn’t wait to see my girlfriend, Stephanie from a previous trip and decided to shoot down to Costa Rica for three nights on the way back from a business trip.

She had exchanged emails a few times from my last trip, and had since moved to Jaco Beach. I had yet to visit this Costa Rica party town, and figured Stephanie would be a good excuse.

I got to the Blue Marlin at about 7. I had a good time watching the first time gringos checking in and walking around with their jaws dropped. I got tired of that after about an hour or two and headed over to the Key Largo.
